How it works

When you click a Buy button, you go to the store through a tracking link. The store can see that you came from us and pays us a share of any purchase. We never learn who you are: the affiliate network reports clicks and purchases to us by a reference code, not by name.

Links to the stores we work with are affiliate links. Each Buy button is labeled “Affiliate link” where it appears, not only on this page, and the links are marked sponsored in the code, as search engines ask.

What it does not affect

This is the most important part of this page. Commissions do not affect:

• a product's ingredient analysis or classification
• the order of search results
• which products are in the catalog
• what we write about a product

The classification is made by a rule engine that reads the ingredient list and knows nothing about the stores' commission rates. The rules are published in full.

Where the prices come from

The prices on the English site come from two Finnish online stores, Lyko and Cocopanda, and are shown in euros: the same prices a shopper in Finland sees. We never convert them into another currency.

Cocopanda delivers only to addresses in mainland Finland, not to the Åland Islands, and asks for a Finnish phone number. Lyko's terms list delivery to Finland (not the Åland Islands), Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, the Netherlands, Austria, and Germany, with orders shipped from Sweden. Neither store delivers to the US or the UK, so check the store's own delivery terms before you plan a purchase.

There are no paid placements or sponsored content on the site at the moment. If there ever are, they will be clearly labeled everywhere they appear, not only on this page.
