We read these six ingredient groups from every product's ingredient list. The pages below gather products by what they do not contain — each label is counted from the list, not taken from the brand's own claims.
The number shows how many products the group applies to. Only products whose ingredient list we've read are counted: a product whose list we don't have isn't fragrance-free, it's unknown. How we classify
No Parfum or Fragrance entry, and none of the EU's 26 fragrance allergens.
No volatile alcohol. Fatty alcohols such as Cetearyl Alcohol are not in this group.
No plant-distilled scent compounds — the fragrance that need not be declared as Parfum.
No -methicone, -siloxane or Dimethicone entries. A filter, not a warning.
None of the three sulfate surfactants that actually occur. Covers hair products too.
None of the ingredients that comedogenicity tables list as pore-clogging.
A label is neither a recommendation nor a warning. We don't say whether a group is right for you — we show what a product's ingredient list contains and what it leaves out, and leave the decision to you.
