Foundations for dry skin

On this page foundations for dry skin are chosen by their ingredient list. These are the foundations with no drying alcohol among the first ten ingredients and a humectant or emollient among the first eight, such as glycerin, butylene glycol, propanediol, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, aloe, squalane or a plant oil. Left out are those with an oil-absorbing powder among the first five: kaolin, silica, aluminum starch octenylsuccinate or talc. An ingredient list is declared in descending order of concentration, so the position says how much of an ingredient there is relative to the others. We do not claim that a foundation moisturizes skin, and being on this list is not a promise about how a foundation feels on yours. We do not classify finish or coverage, because neither can be read off an ingredient list.
