Foundations for oily skin

On this page foundations for oily skin are chosen by their ingredient list. These are the foundations that are silicone-based or carry an oil-absorbing powder among the first ten ingredients, such as silica, kaolin, corn or tapioca starch, nylon-12 or perlite. Two more conditions must hold: the acne-prone verdict is not the highest of its three levels, and there is no watchlist ingredient among the first five, such as coconut oil, cocoa butter or isopropyl myristate, and no shea butter. This page makes no promise about shine, oil or breakouts: we tell you what is in the list and where. We do not classify how matte a foundation is, because the finish cannot be read off an ingredient list.
